C052. And Now, Bird Flu
A short synopsis: US agencies paid a lot of money to Peter Daszak ("Ecohealth Alliance"). He's actually categorized as a zoologist, in New York. (But he's British.) Daszak remitted some of that money to the Wuhan Institute of Virology, for "gain of function" research on bat viruses. (He must have kept the rest of the money.) He was in there to put some distance between DC and Wuhan. (Somehow or other, the US Government money was cut off after the pandemic began.)
Supposedly, the purpose of such research is to make viruses transmissible to man and more deadly. They claim they do this, they create new human diseases, in order to then find ways of preventing or curing them. Idiotic! We already have plenty of deadly diseases, difficult to prevent, for use as bioweapons--and why collaborate with an Axis nation to get more of them?
Then, the pandemic broke out--first in Wuhan. Incredible coincidence! The Chinese allowed planes from there to go to the West, but not to destinations within China. The resulting disease was far deadlier to Caucasians than to Asians. Should we put the blame on Fauci for deaths per 1000 people being higher in the US even than in most other Western countries?
But still, only 0.3% of Americans died. A far larger number of those who didn't become "seriously ill" or die lost a great deal (for instance, a year of education) because of what Trump and Biden, instructed by Fauci, chose to do about the pandemic. Then again, some of the crooked among our compatriots were able to steal billions from the Government's foolish and inflationary pandemic aid programs.
But mark this. Despite all of the declared good intentions and the money spent, nothing from Daszak, nothing from Wuhan was of even the slightest use in stopping or mitigating the epidemic, anywhere. Nothing of theirs was even tried. Doesn't that speak for itself? They were trying to create an offensive rather than a defensive bioweapon.
Now, the public health establishment is trying to foment fear of "bird flu," another virus. That disease has been around for a long time and has killed tremendous numbers of birds. Up to today, the only people who caught it (and in most cases died) were individuals who worked intensively with birds.
The virus is now found in 1/5 the samples of milk from cows in some areas. However, it's wiped out by pasteurization, so the milk is safe. Evidently a lot of cows have been infected, which is new--but they're obviously not dying of it.
So, which, out of the very large number of labs around the world admitting to doing gain-of-function research, is responsible for this one? The promoters of the new phobia seem shocked that the public is not very impressed So far so good! The Government says the risk to people from bird flu is still low. Maybe they need to bring Fauci back from retirement to talk it up.
